Golf Season In Central Oregon

Many golf enthusiasts find themselves longing for new and interesting places to tee it up this time of year.  Well, Bend Oregon is gearing up for the season of non-stop golf!  Here is one of the most incredible places we have found, Pronghorn.  This community includes two incredible championship golf courses designed by Tom Fazio and Jack Nicklaus.  The high desert hasn’t looked and played like this before!

These stunning private courses challenge the best of players.  Full of exquisite scenery and mystery at every hole, the Pronghorn courses are unique in every way.  Many residents find themselves relaxing and enjoying what Pronghorn has to offer.  If golf, spa and wellness center, fine dining and luxurious accomodations fit your style, then Pronghorn is the place.

 

Sedona Arizona and Good Eatin’

This past weekend I took a trip to Sedona Arizona.  I found myself in a wonderful restaurant that reminded me of the Old West with class.  The Cowboy Club has walls full of scenic western murals, cowboy hats and a beautiful rock fireplace nestled in the back.  I felt right at home!  As I was seated by the courteous staff, I noticed the cleanliness of my surroundings.  “Excellent”,  I thought to myself!   The menu was outstanding!  Appetizers consisted of real rattlesnake and cactus fries.  Don’t worry, for those of you who don’t enjoy living on the edge there are other choices.  The choices are endless with ribs, buffalo, Angus and even seafood.  To top off the meal I enjoyed the pan fried chocolate chip cookie!  Absolutely wonderful!  This uptown restaurant has my vote and will be visited again when staying in Sedona!
